Competition Rules and Guidelines

Most things are permitted so long as your target has indicated them on their character card. If you ever have any doubts, just reach out to the artist to check if they’re alright with what you have in mind. Please respect other artists’ hard limits.

Character submissions

Submissions must be of your original characters. This can include player characters you have generated in a video game, or a ttrpg session, or original characters you have made for a particular fandom. You cannot submit characters made/owned by other people or companies.

Prohibited Content

Depictions of minors, and child-appearing characters (under 18).

Depictions of sexual violence (this includes abusive behaviors, such as grooming and non-consensual verbal abuse)

Depictions of non-consent and dubious consent (consensual non-consent must be readily apparent within the context of the work)

Depictions of close relationship incest (parent and child, sibling and siblings.)

Content that is intended to be offensive or malicious

Content that contains hate speech or slurs (We also strongly discourage the use of derogatory porn language, such as futa, futanari, cuntboy, etc)

Content made using genAI (including paint overs)

Two things to note; this list is for ArtF*ck content posted to Bluesky. Our one for Discord is a little more extensive (mostly to cover subjects that should be spoilered) and reflect the differing TOS of the two platforms we have to work with, plus there are things we prohibit for the sake of keeping moderation as simple as possible.
Secondly; our content restrictions should NOT be taken as moral statements or kinkshaming, as that isn’t their intent. Moderating art is difficult and curating a healthy community can be hard, especially across the wide spectrum of sexuality and kinks.

Failure to Participate

As this is an art exchange that necessitates active and manual moderation, these guidelines allow fair and reasonable precautions to prevent people gaming the system/good will of others to get free smut, whilst still allowing for life’s curve balls.

Shit happens. If you contact a mod and say “Hey, sorry, I can’t participate anymore”, you’ll be removed from the search, and there’s no penalty.

We moderate ArtFuck to ensure that everyone receives at least one engagement (one piece of art) though most people receive more than that, so the minimum participation expected is for each artist to at least create one piece of art (either an engagement or a revenge).

If you don’t create anything, and don’t inform a mod, you get a strike.

A strike can be removed by creating at least two pieces of art (either engagements or revenges of people from the opposing team of the event you were previously in) before the next ArtFuck, and actively participating in the next event.

If a pattern of behavior emerges, mods will permanently ban a person from participating.
